New to the range of Mazda Power Train units currently offered by PTP is the 2.0ltr engine with VVT (variable valve timing) that is used in the current Mazda MX5.
With the introduction VVT (variable valve timing) the engine in standard form is capable of producing an impressive 160Ps @ 7000rpm and 188nm of torque at 5000rpm. Fitted with forged Crankshaft, con rods and pocketed pistons as standard makes ongoing performance optimisation with-out further work required to the bottom end easily achievable.
As standard the engine is mounted at a 10 degree angle, in the cases where the engine would need to be mounted fully upright a range of dry and baffled sumps are already available.
